Outreach

We believe that we are called to live out the values and teachings of Jesus by standing with the poor and the marginalized and by becoming their friends. We are committed to the work of peacemaking and reconciliation. Our outreach philosophy is to engage in hands-on, face to face works of compassion. Outreach ministries at St. Paul’s include:

Fifth Tuesday Feeding Program: We gather to prepare food and to feed the hungry in a local park on the fifth Tuesday’s of the month.

Habitat for Humanity: We raise money for, and we participate in the building drives of the Greater Pomona Valley chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Pomona

Options Pre-School: St. Paul’s community joined with a non-profit corporation to open a pre-school for children from low income families in our city. The W.M. Keck Foundation Options Pomona Preschool is located in the school wing of our property.

Community Engagement Group: St. Paul’s representatives meet monthly with the Pomona Police Department, other church communities, city, and non-profit organizations in our area, to address the problems of our youth, especially those that live within poor and marginalized communities.
