Alleluia! Christ is Risen!

Alleluia! Christ is Risen!

He is Risen, indeed, Alleluia!

I pray you all have a glorious Easter Week.  One of the beauties of our traditions is that we celebrate Easter for 8 days, so Happy Easter Week!

There will be no Tuesday Eucharist this week as I will be taking tomorrow off.  The Wednesday Recovery Eucharist will be at 6 p.m. as usual.

Next Sunday, April 27th, is what we call in the Anglican tradition "Low Sunday" probably because the clergy have low energy after the Holy Week Marathon!  But actually it is to give focus to the importance of Easter Sunday by not having as "high" or solemn a liturgy as Easter Sunday.  Easter Hymns will be sung, but the liturgy will be simpler and shorter.  Please come and bring a friend.

At 11:10 a.m. on Sunday we will have a first in a series of classes on Anglicanism.  If you are newer to the Episcopal Church or want to know more about the ancient Christian tradition you have affiliated with, please come.

Again, I want to thank all of you who have worked so hard and tirelessly during Holy Week and Easter weekend.  Get some rest and relaxation!

Have a blessed week!

The Rector
