I just wanted to clarify some things about our Wednesday evening service, especially during Lent. The 6 p.m. Eucharist is still the 12-Step Spirituality Eucharist. All are welcome whether a person is in recovery or not. We can all learn and benefit from 12-Step Spirituality. Those who attend the 6 p.m. Eucharist are not expected to stay for the Stations of the Cross or the Soup Supper/Discussion unless they want to. Each segment is optional!
On Wednesday, April 2nd, we will have the 6 pm Recovery Eucharist but we will NOT have the Stations and Soup Supper because we are invited that evening by St. John's LaVerne to attend their Lenten Evening on Outreach where we will learn about Laundry Love. Those planning to attend that evening at St. John's should plan to be at St. John's by 6. The Eucharist will be for those who are not going to St. John's or who want to come late with me (about 6:45). There will be a sign-up list this coming Sunday in the church for those who will be attending the evening at St. John's.
On Wednesday, April 9th, the Stations of the Cross and Soup Supper will be the last one for Lent because we will not be having that program on the Wednesday of Holy Week. We will have the 12 Step Mass, though, during Holy Week and every Wednesday as planned.
